Belfast Building & Roofing

1 & 3 Dufferin Ave Bangor

Conversion from Slum to Commercial Offices Finished in 1992.

Dufferin House like most of Dufferin Ave was built in the late 1800’s. With rooms to rent beside Bangors Train & Bus station, Dufferin House offered lodgings to many new arrivals to Bangor after WW2. New arrivals who later became well known Bangor Families. After the golden 1960’s Dufferin Ave went into a deep decline in the 70’s and 80’s and became bedsit land until local character Marty Reynolds Christened it “Sufferin Ave”
